"Grateful and blessed"
I'm a professional acrobat. Since I was little, I dreamt of being a great athlete or artist. When I was four years old, I started in rhythmic gymnastics, but they did not want me because I was gaining weight. I suffered a lot with that, but I never gave up. I was sure that little detail would not put a stop to me achieving my goals.
The truth is, I have never felt unhappy with my body. I love and accept myself as I'm; of course, I want to improve myself more every day.
This photo session opened my mind much more to make me realize that we should not have any kind of regret for showing our bodies and that we should feel grateful and blessed with what we have.
In particular, every day I thank God, life, the universe, and everything that exists for letting me make art with my body. I will always be eternally grateful for this great gift and this beautiful discipline that is Art.

"Agradecida y bendecida"
Soy acróbata profesional, desde pequeña soñé con ser una gran deportista o artista. A los 4 años de edad comencé en gimnasia rítmica donde no me querían por estar subida de peso, sufrí mucho con eso pero nunca me di por vencida, estaba segura de que ese pequeño detalle no sería un impedimento para lograr mis objetivos.
La verdad nunca me he sentido inconforme con mi cuerpo, me amo y me acepto como soy, por supuesto queriendo cada día superarme más.
Esta sesión de fotos me abrió mucho más el panorama de que no debemos tener ningún tipo de pena por mostrar nuestros cuerpos y que debemos de sentirnos agradecidos y bendecidos con lo que tenemos.
Yo en particular cada día le doy gracias a Dios, a la vida, al universo y a todo lo que existe por dejarme realizar arte con mi cuerpo. Siempre estaré eternamente agradecida con este gran don y está bella disciplina que es el Arte.
