This was our first time in Mexico and we wanted to do a photo shoot to capture our memories. We found Jorge online and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. After having to reschedule, Jorge made sure to take his time and tried to get the best shots possible.
My now fiancé and I have always been an “awkward” couple when it comes to photo shoots, but Jorge made us feel comfortable throughout the session.
What I didn’t realize was that this photo shoot would be eleven years in the making… In the middle of our photo shoot, my boyfriend proposed while Jorge captured every moment. We have been dating since the last of our teenage years, after meeting at our job at an amusement park. Who knew helping a coworker with finding work coverage would lead to a lifetime of love? After high school, we went to the same college, studying different professions, and have since then been practically inseparable.
Upon planning our vacation in Playa del Carmen, we decided to do a photo shoot because I always enjoyed doing “just because” sessions to have memories of us together. We stayed at Xcaret Arte, a beautiful resort; however, we had our session done at Playacar Public Beach, which was just as beautiful of a location—especially during golden hour.
Having the photo shoot towards the end of our vacation was the perfect top-off to our wonderful experience. Xcaret Arte was one of the best all-inclusive getaways we’ve had, embracing their Mexican culture and architecture within the resort. There were many activities to do at their included water parks that enabled us to channel our inner adventurous selves—from riding ATVs to zip-lining through a ring of fire to swimming in private cenotes.
My fiancé planned everything, from contacting our photographer to letting him know his plans to propose. We are already planning our next vacation to Xcaret Arte and, without a doubt, would hire Jorge again to continue capturing more beautiful memories.
